CyberLingo is a startup educational application that will allow users to learn cybersecurity related terminology and facts. It is geared toward both university students and working professionals looking to dive into the cybersecurity related field.
It was a pleasure of mine to build their branding from the ground up and provide a logo set, color palette, typography, user interface designs, and badge achievement imagery.
Brand Guidelines
The CyberLingo Branding Package consisted of a full logo suite, including a dark and light mode for both the brand mark and full logo, a consistent color palette, typography, iconography, and recommended imagery.
As with a lot of my logo projects, I started the project by sketching out different ideas, and found a commonality of centering the imagery around a lightbulb shape. Rather than make the branding so on the nose, I eventually designed a more abstracted version of this idea.
Web Design
I was tasked with designing a User Interface for the CyberLingo landing/homepage, a user dashboard, and quiz screens. I created the concept from scratch in Figma and the design will be used by developers to give a general guide of how the program should look to adhere to the brand guidelines set above and also to reach web accessibility standards.
